Where does a Content Manager run?

A Content Manager runs on a web server. This has two main advantages.

  1. It is central: available to all your team.
  2. It publishes the site: and controls all those nice dynamic features that are so useful.

There are three choices of server for running a WebStory site.

  1. Managed WebStory server: one of our shared WebStory servers optimised to deliver WebStory sites.
  2. Colocated WebStory server: your own dedicated WebStory server colocated in the Docklands.
  3. Your own self-managed server: your own WebStory serrver located as you require (you purchase the license for a WebStory installation).
